Harambee is hosting the Umoja Cup for high school girls on March 23 and the Ujima Cup for high school boys on March 30. Both tournaments are completely free.

Harambee Sports Club is offering an indoor/gym 6-session skills training class to help develop individual skills for outdoor soccer.

These 9 hours of training are designed for motivated players grades 8-12 looking to develop ball control, touch and technical skills in advance of summer club soccer seasons. Trainings will be led by experienced club and high school coaches. Only $20 for all six sessions.

April 4 & 5, 2024

Girls grades 8-12 are welcome to join us for two sessions of fun, skill-building, and play. Beginners are encouraged to attend!

Harambee Badminton Camp Details:

Dates: Thursday & Friday, April 4 & 5; 10am-12noon each day
Location: Hiawatha Collegiate High School, 3500 E. 28th St., Minneapolis, MN 55406
Ages: Open to GIRLS grades 8-12
Skill Levels: All skill levels welcome (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
Cost: Harambee Badminton Camp is completely FREE

soccer training & Play for Grades k-5

Harambee Juniors is a welcoming, fun and fast-moving introduction to soccer and athletic skills This Harambee Juniors program is for players in grades K-5.

These one-hour sessions are for young athletes at all levels of experience. Players will develop confidence and creativity while learning about the game of soccer.

Goalkeeper training

GK Coach Krishnan Kutty returns to lead a 5-week indoor course to prepare players for the summer season and beyond. Goalkeeping fundamentals and skill-building will be taught along with strength and conditioning exercises.

Camp Harambee is our annual FREE soccer training camp for high school girls and boys. This year's camp is Wednesday, July 12 at Macalester College stadium.

9:00-10:30am | Boys Camp/Training
10:30-12:00pm | Ukraine U17B vs Harambee Stars international friendly.
12:00 - 1:00pm | Free lunch for all participants
1:30 - 4:30pm | Girls Camp/Training

Houseplants for youth

Share your houseplants with young people! Harambee Sports Club has an ongoing community engagement and wellbeing project collecting houseplant cuttings from friends and neighbors. Plant cuttings will be propagated, potted and distributed to teens participating in our programming. Learn more.
