Training with Coach Pete
Learn more about our 2020 Fall Training Program:
This soccer training and youth development program is geared towards players aged 13-15 who were interested in playing high school and competitive soccer but were unable to do so this fall.
We are here to support youth and their families in the wake of George Floyd's death, COVID-19 and economic challenges.
This Harambee training program will be offered FREE OF CHARGE. Your tax deductible donations to support the Harambee program and mission are always welcome but not required to participate. To donate, visit our donation page.
Training sessions will be Mondays (4:30 - 6:00pm), Wednesdays (4:30 - 6:00pm) and Saturdays (10:00-11:30am) beginning Wednesday, September 9 at Matthews Park (South Minneapolis - 2318 29th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55406).We will continue trainings through October or as weather allows.
All players must register to participate (this is not a drop-in program). We reserve the right to limit the number of participants to mitigate risks per MN State recommendations for youth sports participation. Player/parent communication and calendar will be through the Heja Sports App.
Fall soccer training will be fun, engaging and supportive for intermediate to advanced players. We will focus on developing athletic, technical and ball handling skills that will allow players to play with more confidence and creativity.
